Mission

The Missouri Family Policy Council (MoFPC) is a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to promoting Biblical principles in our government and Judeo-Christian values in our culture that support and encourage strong healthy families.

The Missouri FPC is one of 35 such state organizations formally associated with Focus on the Family, the family support ministry led by Dr. James Dobson. Like Focus on the Family, we view our work as a ministry. We seek to share the Hope of the Gospel and the Truth of God''s Word for the benefit of Missouri Families.

Purposes

The purposes of the Missouri Family Policy Council are:

To promote and preserve a culture in Missouri in which the traditional family is nurtured and defended through efforts of good faith, good will, good conscience, and Godly integrity

To enable concerned citizens, churches, and communities in Missouri to be informed participants in civic affairs on behalf of family-friendly public policies and programs.

To educate and encourage elected officials and policy makers in Missouri concerning issues impacting the family, from a Judeo-Christian perspective

To provide prayer support and spiritual encouragement to elected officials and their families in the performance of their public duties

To serve as a voice for Missouri families with the media in order to promote a Biblical worldview regarding parents, children, and family life

To articulate and advance a lifestyle of active Christian citizenship which asserts our religious freedom to speak God's truth in love
